In this world, you can&amp;rsquo;t mess around with heat density or electrical stability. When these lamps are running in an edgebander, they&amp;rsquo;re under a massive amount of thermal stress.&#xA;If a tube fails, it&amp;rsquo;s not just a &amp;ldquo;down-time&amp;rdquo; problem. A bad electrical failure can fry your entire control board. That&amp;rsquo;s a nightmare nobody wants.&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;h2 id=&#34;the-stress-test&#34;&gt;The Stress Test&lt;/h2&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;Before any lamp leaves our shop, we put it through the ringer with high-voltage (HiPot) and insulation resistance tests. We push the quartz and the electrode seals way past what they&amp;rsquo;ll actually see during a normal workday.&#xA;This isn&amp;rsquo;t just some box we check to say we did it. We do it because we want to be damn sure no leakage current is sneaking its way into your machine&amp;rsquo;s chassis.&#xA;Think about your shop floor. You&amp;rsquo;ve got sawdust everywhere and the humidity fluctuates. In that environment, a tiny pinhole leak or a sloppy crimp on a lead can cause those annoying, intermittent grounding faults. You know the ones—where the machine just trips for no reason, or worse, someone gets a shock they didn&amp;rsquo;t ask for.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
